We have two MOT technicians at Booth’s Tyre and Auto Services. Both of our testers have over 20 years’ experience testing all makes and models of vehicles from high performance cars to classics! We are able to MOT any vehicle within Class 4. Our MOT’s cost £35.00 or we are currently offering a £20.00 MOT with any full service. The first time your car will require a MOT test is when it is three years old. It must then be tested annually after that. Without a current MOT certificate, you will be unable to drive your vehicle lawfully. As part of the inspection, your vehicle will undergo a series of comprehensive checks. Once completed, your vehicle will either be awarded a VT20 pass certificate or a VT30 failure document. Some items that may require your attention later down the line are noted as advisories. We will able to approximate the time scale for when these advisories will need attention by and estimate the cost for you, ensuring you are able to budget accordingly. Should your vehicle fail, we are able to carry out the relevant repairs, if you want us to, although there is no obligation. We can always re-test your vehicle within 10 working days, should you wish to carry out the relevant repairs elsewhere.
